What a crazy week I had glamming for the SUPER BOWL in Phoenix, Arizona. I have to still pinch myself when I say that sentence. It was a huge goal of mine to be able to glam for the biggest game of the entire season, and I had so much fun doing it with the new SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS, the Kansas City Chiefs. I am going to break down all of the glam details and how I got these Chiefs wives ready for Super Bowl game day!
Sunday February 12th I set my alarm for 3:30am. I needed to leave at 4:20am to make my way to the official hotel for the Kansas City Chiefs where I was glamming 6 of the players wives for the big day, Super Bowl game day! I arrived around 4:40am and hung out with the security guards until I convinced them to let me in... (haha). One of the wives, Reagan- fiancee of Chiefs player Juan Thornhill, set everything up for us. I had a conference room at the hotel where I did all of the makeup, and she also set the list of Chiefs girls getting glammed. I am forever thankful for how easy she made it for me and the other girls.
Please enjoy this photo of me in action glamming.
My first client was Reagan, and we started on her glam at 5am. After her, I had booked everyone else in 30 minute windows- one following the next- so we could bust out these glam looks and everyone was finished by 8:30am. What every girl wanted for this big game was similar, a neutral tone glam with faux lashes with the exception of one red lip. The glam was very important because these girls would be wearing it for no lie... 22 hours! We started very early in the morning and they needed it to last the entire game day, and through multiple after parties until the wee hours of the morning. The girls were all so excited and kept saying how grateful they were to just even be playing in the Super Bowl. With the competitive nature of sports, I thought these kinds of comments from the girls showed how genuine and classy they were and it was so heartwarming to see how much they loved and supported their significant others! They instantly all became my favorites!
The key products (click links to shop the products) I used for their looks were:
Tatcha Water Cream - started with this to hydrate the skin.
Fenty Primer - second on the skin to create an even base to apply the makeup and help the makeup grip on and last .
SAIE glowy super gel - for my signature glowy look I use this under the foundation but on top of the regular primer. This is the third thing to layer on the skin.
Anastasia Brow Powder
Anastasia Brow Freeze Gel
Natasha Denona Glam Palette - I use the warm medium brown, the darker brown, and the gold shimmers
Hourglass Airbrush Concealer
Temptu Airbrush Foundation
Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand
Hoola Bronzer
Charlotte Tilbury Blush Wand in Pinkgasm
Jaclyn Hill Powder Blushes
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liners in Pillow Talk, Pillow Talk 2, and Iconic Nude
Pat McGrath Red Lipstick & lip liner
Makeup Forever Setting Spray
Skindinavia Setting Spray
