The Sephora sale is here! This is the 2023 Savings event and I am providing you with makeup education and my "picks" in this blog post! If you are person who wears makeup, it's basically mandatory to purchase items from this sale because you are going to save BIG.



Step 1: Find out what status you have with Sephora rewards. If you have never shopped before, head to Sephora website and make your profile NOW and you will start off as a Sephora Insider. You will get 10% off from 10/31 to 11/6 as a Sephora Insider level member. If you have purchased from Sephora before, you have the chance to have been bumped up to a VIB member, or Rouge member. This will show in your account settings on your Sephora app or when logged into the website. First Stop: PRIMERS

If you only buy one thing from this sale, make it the SAIE Glowy super gel. This is my secret sauce to how I get my celebrity clients GLOWING. Put this all over your face like a primer. If you don’t want a glowy base, I recommend the Milk Makeup Hydrogrip Primer. Primers are the way you get your makeup to stay on all day and night long. Setting spray alone will not do it. When you are doing a makeup look on yourself, the layering goes: Milk Makeup primer, SAIE glowy super gel (if you want to be glowy), eyelid primer.

BROW PRODUCTS:

With so many different ways to wear your brows, I am bringing you all of the products so you can create what look you like best! If you buy one thing, buy the Valentino brow trio. It has a spoolie, a brow pencil, and a felt tip eyebrow pen. This is what I personally use on myself and it is THE BEST! Use the Anastasia clear gel for pushed up brows. I do not like soap brow products because they seem to always catch foundation and other makeup products and end up looking dirty. The Anastasia gel doesn't seem to have that issue. Please put this on after foundation to assure your brows don’t pick up other product. I have also added my favorite powders, pencils, a tinted brow gel and pomade. The duo powder is fool proof and easy to fix if you mess up so if you are new to filling in brows or like a light filled in look, go for that. The duo comes with 2 colors so you can transition from a day look to night, or by using the lighter powder on the inside parts of your brow and the darker on the outside!

EYESHADOWS:

Please throw out your 10 year old Urban Decay palettes because there are wayyyyy better shadows out there that you are missing out on! Check out my picks and decide on your new palette based on what colors speak to you, if you like mattes/shimmers, etc! I love using warm oranges/ nudes on blue eyes to make them pop. I love using mauves on brown eyes.

EYELINER & MASCARA:

There is only one eyeliner I love in this world.... the Clinique felt tip liner. I can get such a skinny liner look and it NEVER transfers. It is a must buy! I have 3 mascaras that I love for you. The YSL Mascara is one I have recently been using and you get SERIOUS volume. I have easily use 60+ different mascaras in my life and I have never had the volume this YSL one can provide.

LIQUID FOUNDATIONS:

I put each one here for a different reason! Armani Luminess silk is currently my favorite foundation. It has luminosity (hence the name) and is very buildable. I would consider this a medium coverage foundation but can be built to full coverage with layers. Estee Lauder double wear has been a past favorite, but I noticed my skin drying out from it as soon as I hit 30 – however, it is great for oily skin! Lastly, the Dior Forever Foundation is perfect for every skin type, texture, age, you literally cannot go wrong with this one and it smells amazing.

Please remember that you can return your products to Sephora. Buy whatever shade you think online and return/even exchange if it doesn't work or isn’t the right color match! When picking shades and you see the shade letters and numbers.... C means cool toned skin which is going to be pink/blue, W means warm toned skin which means golden/ orange, and N means neutral which is right down the middle and neither C or W. BRONZER:

Warm up your face with a great bronzer. I am obsessed with the SAIE Sun Melt cream bronzer in the shade medium bronze, but if you are a powder girl, go with Dior and Charlotte Tilbury!




BLUSH AND HIGHLIGHTER:

So many people stay away from blush and highlighter and only put bronzer on their face. We all have pink on our cheeks naturally so blush is going to give you that natural pink glow! I think TikTok has helped us all become blush girlies, but incase you haven’t gotten there yet, grab a blush during this sale and I promise you’ll come to the blushy side.

Highlighter brings dimension to our face and makes us interesting! The Charlotte Tilbury wands for blush and highlighter are what I use on all of my celebrity makeup looks so shop those to get their look!

LIQUID AND CREAM CONTOURS:

Contour is different than bronzer. For a full glam, you need both. Contours are cool toned and create shadow. Bronzers are golden tone and add warmth to the face. Hop on Youtube or book a makeup lesson with me and I can teach you how to use!

LIPLINER, LIPSTICK, LIPGLOSS:

If you have followed me for a while you know I have a very strong opinion on lip combos. What makes me happy is my followers always love them! If you listen to me on one thing in this blog post, the lip combos should probably be it!
